Thank You for Your Order
The word “Disciple” occurs about 250 times in the New Testament. But what does it mean? And what does the Bible say about ‘being’ and ‘making’ disciples? For Christians and Christian teachers or leaders who want to drill down on the essentials of the Christian life, this course will help you discover all of those things. It includes a total of multiple audio downloads (four of which are teaching sessions), with additional content that could easily be used to equip others in a discipleship setting. For the individual Christian, this series is the first step in getting serious about the Christian life and understanding exactly what the Christian life is supposed to be. For the teacher or pastor, this is a tool that will help guide your thinking and practice of disciplemaking.
We’re thrilled to be a part of your faith journey.
What Your Online Course Includes
What should you expect from this online course? Let’s just say, “WOW!” That’s what to expect.
You’re about to embark on an incredibly meaningful, fun, and results-oriented journey toward greater Bible knowledge. As a Podcast Seminary Scholar, you now have access to MINS 120 Online Course.
- A Month-Long Online Course. Courses begin at the first of the month. But the first two units can be started right away, as they help you get your study space set up. You can go online now and prepare, as we want to help you familiarize yourself with online learning. It’s easy, but there are a few things to learn and we want to make it as pain-free as possible. Don’t worry, it’s going to be great. You’ll be an online course expect in no time. If it is before the beginning of the month this course is offered, simply go online at your convenience and get familiar with the course by completing Units 1 and 2 (of 12). Those are brief orientation and setup sessions. Then, once you complete those, you can wait until the beginning of the month to start formally taking the course, so you can learn with others in the Podcast Seminary community who are also taking this course. If the course has already begun (if it’s after the first of the new month the course is being offered), go ahead and get started. We have set the program up in such a way that people can join at any time so when the desire to study God’s Word occurs, there will be no delays and no excuses. Just jump in and get started. If you miss something, you can always go through that content after the month concludes and go through the content again if you like. (The class may or may not immediate repeat after the end of the month, depending on the Podcast Seminary schedule.
- Twelve Online Sessions (including 4 Audio Podcasts). There are 12 Units of content in the course. There are 2 pre-course units (Home Page and Course Welcome), followed by weekly “listen” and “learn” units in Weeks 1 and 2, then a “listen,” “learn,” and “live” unit on Week 3, followed by “listen” and “learn” units on Week 4. The course concludes with Unit 12, which is our Recap and Reload session, which includes a final exam (optional) for “Resident Scholars.”
- Additional Resources. In addition to these, we have created or curated several important resources we think can help you grow. You’ll find these along the way. Some of the resources are from our sister Soapbox site, DigitalDiscipler. Other resources are printable or downloadable. You’re in for a great treat.
- Do You Have Friends or Family Who Need this Course? We encourage you to challenge them to take this course with you. It’s not too late to start, and it’d be great fun to have someone else join in the fun!
